WHO WE ARE
Project137 is the youth ministry of Saving Grace Church, designed specifically for students from middle school through their sophomore year of college. We believe that these formative years are crucial for building a foundation of faith that lasts.
Our Foundation
ECCLESIASTES 11:9-10
"Rejoice, O young man, in your youth, and let your heart cheer you in the days of your youth. Walk in the ways of your heart and the sight of your eyes. But know that for all these things God will bring you into judgment. So remove vexation from your heart, and put away pain from your body, for youth and the dawn of life are vanity."
Authentic Faith
We create a space where you can ask real questions and grow in your relationship with God.
Real Community
Build lasting friendships with others who are on the same journey of faith and life.
Biblical Teaching
Relevant, engaging teaching that connects Scripture to your everyday life.
Fun & Adventure
Games, events, trips, and experiences that create memories to last a lifetime.
MEET OUR TEAM

JOSHUA PEREIRA
Executive Pastor & Acting Youth Pastor
Joshua Pereira serves as the Executive Pastor and Acting Youth Pastor at Project137, where he is passionate about raising up the next generation to know Christ, walk in truth, and live with purpose. With over 20 years of ministry experience, Joshua brings both spiritual depth and practical leadership to his role.
He holds degrees in Psychology, Justice Studies, and Systematic Theology, equipping him with a well-rounded perspective on both the human condition and biblical truth. This foundation allows him to connect with students on a deeper level while guiding them toward a strong, Christ-centered identity.
Joshua believes that ministry is not just about teaching—but about building relationships, mentoring intentionally, and walking alongside young people through real life. His approach to youth ministry is rooted in authenticity, biblical truth, and practical application.
"Outside of ministry, Joshua is a devoted husband and father who values faith, family, and legacy. He carries a deep desire to see lives transformed and generations impacted for the Kingdom."
RACHEL MCCOY
Youth Director - Project137
Rachel McCoy serves as the Youth Director of Project137, where she brings passion, creativity, and a deep love for the next generation. Raised in the church and actively involved in ministry since childhood, Rachel has faithfully served in a variety of roles over the years, developing a heart for discipleship and authentic connection.
She has a natural ability to relate to students and create an environment where they feel welcomed, encouraged, and inspired to grow in their faith. Whether she is leading, mentoring, or simply spending time with the teens, Rachel is committed to helping them discover their identity in Christ and walk confidently in their purpose.
Rachel also serves on the worship team and has a deep love for music and praise, often using her voice to help lead others into the presence of God. Currently, she is furthering her education at Northwestern, pursuing a degree in Biblical Studies.
"Outside of ministry, Rachel has a passion for photography and all things creative. Above all, she is a devoted wife to William, a loving mother, a caring sister and daughter, and a fiercely loyal friend."
